PK Colloquium is a two-day-or-more fully residential event which is conducted half yearly. This is a private event and open for our past, current and prospective members only. The PK Colloquium is basically for strategic meetings, sharing of best practices, leadership development and capacity building.
PK Colloquium is composed of various presentations. They tend to be short and concise, with a time span of about 10 to 30 minutes; presentations are usually followed by a discussion. The work may be bundled in written form as papers and published as the PK Colloquium proceedings.
This includes keynote speakers (often, scholars of some standing, but sometimes individuals from outside academia) and the keynote lecture lasts sometimes up to an hour and a half, particularly if there are several keynote speakers on a panel. The PK Colloquium always sticks to the agenda that has been drafted for that particular event by the governing body. Sometimes the PK Colloquium may last for a week depending upon the gravity of the knowledge available at PKS’ disposal for exchange.
